Today’s price action dropped the price of Bitcoin all the way down to nearly 9100 for a brief period. Interestingly, the price action today almost exactly mirrored yesterday's big dump in the afternoon.

Otherwise, developments in the field are generally positive for the day and today’s drop appears to be a general market fluctuation.

The only somewhat negative news of the day is that Binance accounts were hacked and quickly recovered. Outside of this, it's likely either a reaction from the Mt.Gox liquidation news or potentially a whale with a consistent sell pattern.
